There was a not right witches fan recently saying how “fans” like it when opponents get injured as it gives them an easier ride to potential victory. I didn’t get it but seeing your latest post I guess it’s a topic of discussion at the Foxhall clubhouse. If you look back I bemoaned the way the rule makers had gone this season and said I’d prefer a witches team with say Zmarzlik covering for Doyle. I bit of a reach for you to grasp. As someone who looks out for people in general and riders in particular, I cannot in good conscience discuss our wonderful sport with someone who takes umbrage at a club trying to cover for an injured hero as it effects your results or not wanting the sport to play by the rules. I’m sure other witches fans will take you to task over this but yourself and the other grim individual, several buttons short of a full cardi or whatever it is are being shunted off to the ignore list. -

Playing Devils advocate ( as always) but you’re doing a team manager out of a job ! Why cant 10 plus teams run without separating the league ? The riders are crying out for rides so the more matches the better……oh, hang on…..not enough riders ? This is why they need to get their support for newbies and the youth sorted out as thats where the riders will come from. The SCB should be running speedway try outs -schools at any track that will host them, invite moto x riders , school kids, fans to come along , for free , and have a ride. The SCB/BSPL should supply bikes, basic kit and tutors to travel around and promote the sport other wise it will be dead within the next few years. This sticky plaster approach isn't going to save it. -

We have someone who wants to open the sport again in Swindon, but the Council are adamant they have no land available. Private land searches have also drawn a blank so far. Clarke Osborne continues to sit on what's left of the Abbey and let that deteriorate and not complete the new bits he threw up to enable houses in the car park. No doubt to eventually be allowed to demolish it for more houses. We are presenting our petition to Full Council on Thursday, but fully expect lots of lip-service and verbal support with no end product from the Council. -
