I don’t believe they would lose money short term but that’s the point it’s a short term solution, the track has completely gone at monmore, only the pits and the changing room remains but while the stadium is still there people change, plans change, entain have never once said why we are out, what’s their plans? What’s behind their thinking ? We can all speculate but the fact is we don’t know, they could argue it’s none of our business what their plans are but we could argue with the council this is our city and we deserve to know -
All true, but surely the difference is basically that in a Premiership team the top and bottom riders are better, but the filling is the same. So in simple terms take a top four Championship team add a couple top riders to replace the replacement riders, and you have a Premiership type team. Bosh job done.

theyre not so similar though bitza if the regular poole team raced sheffield , poole would be annihilated ,hence the need to bring in two top riders in order to be competitive. If it did go ahead with usual teams sheffield wouldnt be interested.Tho a decent enough crowd would turn up at poole to watch tai and the holders im sure most sheffield fans wouldnt bother to watch a poole champioship team especially if sheffield had easily won the away leg -

From my point of view, Poole's involvement means another opportunity to watch speedway, which is great. All this fuss about a championship club being in a Premiership competition, is really little more than hot air because the standards are so similar, complainers are kidding themselves of the great divide, I think.

If they were going to look at running elsewhere then presumably they'd have tried to get that off the ground in 2024. It's probably a sure fire way of losing money so I can understand why they haven't Finding land, getting permission, partners and finance for a multi purpose motor sport site then building it and running it must be the outside of all outside chances Whilst Monmore is still there and most of the track intact it remains the best chance of something happening in my view however slight that chance might be
