Listening to the commentary on tonight's Scunny Worky match and one of them mentioned that some of the new starting gate guards, which are compulsory for all speedway meetings with fixed starting gates, have been provided to British tracks by the Benevolent Fund, 13 apparently including one to the chairman of BSPL! Is this a valid use of SRB Funds? The commentator said it's preventative... but where do you draw the line? Will the SRBF be contributing to clubs air fences? Rider safety equipment? Track preparation equipment? And before you all come on here spitting feathers, this is a question for discussion and not an opinion.
