The “rumour” I heard was: Glasgow want Ashton, Ashton wants to go to Glasgow, Oxford say buy him then! Could be a load of crap for all I know, but that’s my rumour 🤷♂️ -
No brainer on the 25% off and for me, if he maintains his 'proper' average then he'll have a had a great season. Don't expect a massive jump but a more consistent year from him is probably about right for his development at this stage. Looking back at his SGP2 showing, he was a little too conservative in the bends and was getting swallowed up. Maybe somewhere like Glasgow/Scunthorpe in the Championship will help him with that side of his riding or hopefully he'll get an u24 spot in Poland. Odd that he hasn't yet considering some that are already over there. -
Something doesn't add up somewhere. There seems to be quite a lot of people not very subtly hinting at Ashton coming to Glasgow, but surely if he has, Oxford wouldn't be in the dark about it? And yet, they haven't said anything. Still a couple of weeks until we find out for sure, I guess. I'll get some good popcorn stashed away in case it turns out it's true, because I can imagine it would cause a stooshie, which would at least make for some entertainment 😄 -
