Taken from the BSPL press release "However, an exciting addition to the Premiership KO Cup is the inclusion of Championship winners Poole along with all seven regular top-flight clubs." No mention of an "invitation". It's been quite the close season for U-Turn: Cardiff, Boughen, Schlein and now this.

A higher pay rate/and or closer to home/easier for travel to other things can all be reasons, it's a job after all 🙂

No home meeting v Workington? Says on website report away to Workington on 28 June (although a night meeting in the fixtures). Also has us away the following week (5 July) to Workington? Also has pairs and riders championship a different way in the fixtures compared to the report? Will check the British speedway website when I have time.

Exactly, just like when it was announced that Workington would be running an NDT side, was which never ever agreed. BSPL office should never have announced both of these to make both Poole and Workington look bad.

Well, as long as the riders are happy, bugger the fans that pay to watch and can't really see what's happening at the other end of the track!
