So Mr.Baines has stated the departure of Cookie was purely down to numbers. However, cookie, with his reduction, would've fit in the team over Batch. Therefore, they have decided to choose Batch over Cook.  I think having Batch at number 1 puts us in a position where we have one of the worst number 1s in the league.
