And there it is the true demographic of all the moaning sexist bigots that bang on about the need for changes in British speedway.

I think I'm right in saying that he's not had the speedway "education" that many of his contemporaries have had having only started Speedway at 15 years of age, many of the others have had around 10 years in the sport at that age and experienced many first bends at differing levels of the sport, Ashton had none and was fast tracked far too early for somebody with such little experience of Speedway.

You can see why Chris Louis has run off. I’m sure this certainly didnt align with his views of how the sport should present itself -

Nice to see an interview or rather Q&A with Peter Thorogood in last weeks edition - he will be 93 this year!! Another speedway legend for all he has done for the sport over the years particularly at Arena
