I wouldn't say he did. As senior reserve would have liked a bit more from him. Could gate well but then seemed to go back the way after the second bend.

I think the CL has a pretty good look about it next season, lots of new young faces which is always makes things interesting. Poole don't look all that (they'll probably make me eat my words) Redcar looking favourites for me. 

Shame they haven't used any former Kent riders as heat leaders and relatively local to make it a joint venture......think you might be alone on your views on the Eagles/Norris bit.

There was never a ban, riders were sometimes 'discouraged' but that is as far as it went. There would be a lot of gaps in Champ/NDL teams if you banned all of the following:  Scott Nicholls Joe Thompson William Cairns Alfie Bowtell Paul Starke Jacob Clouting Sonny Springer Dayle Wood Nathan Ablitt Jason Edwards Vinnie Foord Jason Garrad Tom Spencer Freddie Hodder Matt Marson Arran Butcher Jamie Etherington

I actually think they've got this one almost spot on. Most of the NDL/NDT clubs only want 5 home fixtures, but most of the development riders want more than 10 meetings. So doubling up in a separate league & trophy is the only way to allow both to happen. The only thing I would have done differently would be to allow stand alone clubs (Kent) to race in both.

Glad that a speedway track remains operational in the South East of England, but the "eagles" !! OMG.   😞 Thought that the BSPA had consigned the Iwade Track to life imprisonment for running NORA meetings ? Some technicality about insurance. Have the NORA riders been given a pardon to allow them to ride in both leagues ? Arch enemy Norris as co promoter !!!!!!! Sounds more like the Eastbourne "Crusaders" invading Kent.  If there is mention of a Dugard in the mix, that will put the tin lid on it. 😞
