Yup. Probably unlikely to get out of the reserve spot as well unless etheridge or bowes dont do well and foord doesnt keep progressing which would make him one of the stronger reserves on paper -
Didn't it used to be that a rider with a championship average over 4, could ride ndl but couldn't guest or ride in the championship ? -

I'm sure many fans did. I've always thought Phil was on the money, so had no reason to doubt him. But not everybody gets things right all the time, and things also change. What's your point exactly?
