I suspect Kentbourne wanted a 'short' season and were happy with this arrangement. Had they (or Mildenhall) wanted a longer season they could probably have reconfigured the set up to accommodate them. -

£10k?? I bet that doesn't even cover stadium rent for 5 nl meetings let alone all other costs and a massively reduced attendance income...!
