Other than a brave battle from Nicolai, it was very easy for Pirates who had riders getting used to the track and playing with setups. Big well done to Zach who has started this season by stepping into his older brothers boots and scoring well. His paid max tonight including a sublime pass of Klindt. Kerr had one duff ride but one his others and as the evening went on, started using more of the track. Starke was ok and scoring paid 7 is more than his low average. Rowe and Lawson fine, Tobias excellent and aggressive. Matt Marson clearly just making up the numbers. Plymouth battled but the team has to be favourites for the wooden spoon. Two riders short of competitive. Be interesting if they can bounce back and win on Saturday night. -

I think it could be a long season for Plymouth fans. Klindt and Trigger aside, that was nowhere near remotely good enough. Cluff and Thompson must be the poorest middle pairing in the league. Thompson was on the arse end of three 5-1s while Cluff was impersonating a speedway rider. Impressive stuff from Poole, especially the main body of the team. -

I'm confident both will have very good seasons. Antti will continue his great form around comets and I hope he can push on away from home. Denham put him as out no.5 against Edinburgh. Not sure if that's the plan going forward or it's because tate looks low on confidence.

Surely Nathan Ablitt is worth a shot for Plymouth, good to see Ben Trigger doing well
