If we were going to sign a Slovenian , could we not have bent the rules to sign Zagar lol

Don't think Chris could do any worse? at least he could call on his old man for advice/guidance.... The damage has been done...but it's not too late to at least try and change things....but the changes need to be done at the 'foundations'... A proper 'speedway' person is needed! First things first....get in someone who 'INSISTS' that the track is prepared for racing.... As the Hobbit suggests....get rid of Pawliki/Lampart....sign a couple of riders who may not win all their heats, but will win the fans over with TOTAL commitment! We had one of those riders in Zack Cook ! mindless decision to sack him! Hobbit also suggests on another forum that the Team Manager's role be handed to a supporter of the Club? 'Said' supporter having years of speedway experience....'great idea' !

Jack’s home average is too good to let go. It’s unfortunate timing given Ace has just had his best week of the season, but the trouble is, they’ve been looking at team options for weeks, and this was likely done before those improved performances. It looks harsh now, but if Ace had continued his previous form for the last week, it wouldn’t look nearly as harsh - he’d hardly beaten an opposition rider all season. Before last week, I’d have (reluctantly) said, for Ace’s long term benefit, it was probably better to have him focus on the NDL where he can do well, rather than continually get beaten and lose confidence in the Championship. Awkward timing, but removing the emotion from the decision, I see why it’s been done. I’m sure fans will be split down the middle about whether it’s right or not, but if they’d done nothing, they’d be taking heat from the other 50%.

Garrad guested for Newman when Poole were at Plymouth. He didn't score but outgated the Poole riders a few times and wasn't far off the pace. I was quite surprised tbf. So he might be ok. Would have thought Perry would sign if asked. Unless already done a deal with another team and just not announced yet as part of a double change like at Workington, for example. -

I actually did state i was in Cornwall i didnt think it necessary to qualify my post with all the background details, as for your update comment ending with its only been going 20 years came across as sarky to me. In this case there were more comments on the meeting thread from around the country to give me an idea of the standard of racing than on the updates thread.
