Let's hope we get a track you can actually pass on this week, instead of the usual slick as a motorway surface we've been provided with for most of this season -

Although he had to stand down latterly, did he not come back to announce the final race at Peterborough? Always used to build the tension when reading out the race result of a close finish while everybody around me had their pens hovering above their programme's

No disrespect to other track announcers but Edwin was really the best, missed his voice in 2023. RIP Edwin.

Tbf, the Edinburgh Vs Poole one is rearranged. Supposed to have already been done but they switched it out for Scunny - which I guess is harder to fit in. -
