Used to be that way, always remember Crump and Pedersen preferring to be at 5, gave the track time to bed in before their first ride.

Of course they don't... There is almost zero financial gain from winning any title other than getting decent crowds for the play offs, (and even that may only balance out those who don't bother to attend when play off positions are confirmed well before the final matches).. Win at home, maintaining your crowds' interest, and then lose away, sometimes using guests when you have agreed to race knowing your best (and most expensive) rider, is unavailable..  It is a hobby for most, so they build a team that hopefully is competitive enough to keep the home turnstiles clicking...  

Why can't we all just wait and see, and allow the Club to announce their Team when ready to do so..... I sincerely hope whoever wrote it is right though.

Playing around in the garden with a gun and some mates and he managed to shoot himself in the head. He has recovered and he came over to Newcastle to present Archie Freeman (who idolised him) with his  British 150cc Championship in 2019. Lovely guy, brilliant gater and he lives in Denmark and rides a big road bike. Could have been a great rider.
