Think that’s harsh on Edinburgh, they were probably the team with the biggest variables pre season but certainly one with plenty of potential and they’ve delivered on it tonight. In the same breath I would agree it’s poor from Glasgow, a team that on paper looked as good/better than most. Luckily it’s only Berwick next week so should be a fairly comfortable bounce back, I imagine Sedgy’s phone will be ringing for a guest booking for one of the Bandits heat leaders.

Just caught up with this... Richard Lawson appearing in heat 1 with a dirty bike and race suit, not really what you expect from a professional Premiership Speedway rider. Ben Cook has had a shocking start to the season. Boughen still looks to be backing off in the first turns, not as blatant as the end of last season but still noticeable he doesn't like to mix it. I'll never understand the mentality of some Speedway riders. Kvech in the same heat surely saw Bomber blasting around the outside to make a pass but still refused to ride any wider than mid track. Great bit of team riding from Jack Holder to shepherd Rowe home for a 5-1. When the riders do their obligatory arm fold in the captions, unless the team sponsors logo is situated on the top of their chest it gets hidden, I noticed this during the CLPC & CLRC, not great for main team sponsorship exposure. Some good track action despite the scoreline.

Being beaten at home by a side which at the start of the season looked pretty bad on paper is not a good look for Glasgow.

Funnily enough the land that the Leicester track is built on was part of the City Council's Sewage Farm and is contaminated by heavy metals contained in the effluent. Thats why there are no houses on it. So you could say Beaumont Park is a brownfield site! -

Wouldn't agree with that, but you're entitled to your opinion. I reckon Glasgow have the weakest reserves in the league, although they weren't great today, don't think the second string department should be a worry. -

Don't rate him as a rider regardless of last seasons average. He is reserve standard meaning Glasgow have 3 reserves IMO.
