Having attended the play off final, I did notice that there were some clear 'darker spots' on the track between the lighting... Nothing dramatic, but clearly not all "evenly well lit" around the bends on 3 and 4.. (We were stood on bend one) . Although,to be fair, it might have been simply that the Leicester lads were so far behind it just looked like they "disappeared from view"...😁

It's still Matt's club though and he's in daily contact with Danny during the season as well as sorting out all the rider contracts. He was also very involved in the successful 'Save Coventry' appeal hearing as potential promoter/co-promoter of speedway which he stated would return at Championship level. Anyway changing the subject, the Poole R.E.F. are holding a quiz night on Weds 15th Jan at Broadstone Royal British Legion Club. Special guests will be William Cairns and his father who are travelling down from Aylesbury.

Always enjoyed the Border Trophy, good pre season warm up with a bit of rivalry thrown in. 

Heard its cancelled as the pairs takes its place in the fixture list, been a yearly event for many seasons, but maybe in this financial climate a lot of fans don't come too " friendly" fixtures
