Love a Bank Holiday afternoon meeting. Don’t always produce the best of racing strip particularly in the summer but the extra numbers and atmosphere make it a great occasion. Looking forward to the East Anglian derby on May bank Holiday. Lynn having a more competitive side this year will add to the interest. Will be a bumper Foxhall crowd that’s for sure. -

And why they see it a problem I have no idea. Track conditions are the same for both teams and as they have had many previous meetings at lunchtime they should be able use it to their advantage. -

Only if they are stricken with injuries again. If Rowe can improve a little he could be a match winner for Sheffield and make them strong challengers. -
Speedway has dabbled with betting companies in the past and nothing has ever really come from it, which is a shame as it looks to be a huge untapped cash cow 🐄 for the sport and are effectively the modern day equivalent to tobacco companies, you only have to look at most other sports who have obscure betting companies plastered all over their clothing etc. Victor Chandler used to sponsor Coventry, I'm pretty sure there was some on course betting at a few tracks back in the noughties and Bet365 showed meetings (similar to dog meetings) for a while. Not sure why it didn't work as you'd think it would be a humane alternative to the doggies 🐕 Good for Oxford though 🎰
