Hopefully not too many fans will have been driven away by this latest Speedway shambles.  Diehards like myself are used to it and will keep coming back but there are a lot of new fans at Northampton who the club simply cannot afford to lose.

As a matter of interest, what was the "junior meeting" in the afternoon?

Not sure that the Tigers are good at handling young riders. Boughen was another who didn't seem to fit in/ be part of the team. Pijper tells of there being too much pressure at Glasgow and how he is more settled at Redcar. Bickley possibly another and Berge perhaps as well.

Lets hope it's not off tonight otherwise there will be a fixtures log jam with BSN covering a meeting each night next week.
