I’m starting to feel a bit concerned about what team Berwick will put out this year. With Oxfords team announcement today,I think it would confirm that there are no top riders willing to commit next year. If the Rory rumours are true then having Cook as the only genuine heat leader is a worry, I just hope the management can pull of a miracle -
There's a fair bit if derelict industrial land around Wolverhampton but it'll all be privately owned. South Staffs has never had a speedway track and I'd be amazed if their planners would be in favour of one but you never know. The required highway works for the site in question add another huge complication. I'd imagine the promotion will issue an update presumably between now and the start of the 2025 season but it's unlikely to say much of note -

It certainly looked like Newman was sent elsewhere to drop his average so Poole could get him back for 2025 5.37 average and replaced 1 meeting away from going to his actual average of 2.something … -

Any many got used to them losing and didn't want to come along and witness another loss. Winning is attractive. I go simply to see good racing, no matter who wins.
