To me, Tate looks down on confidence. Which, after that crash last season, I’m not surprised. Maybe gives the Workington team manager a headache on the riding order front -
Going into the corner Erik came over far too hard, he was practically touching Kerr while leaning right over him and Kerr would have had no way to anticipate that when going into the corner, Erik was still a fair bit behind. As soon as Erik went in it was always going to be an accident. -

I've not seen the Cook / Barker incident, but had the ref excluded Barker both teams would still have made the semi final. -

I didn’t see last year’s event, but if that is the case, the lack of consistency is disappointing. In that sort of incident, my opinion is that Kerr - even if it was Chris Harris - causes the stoppage. -
