Spires have more chance of being competitive in heats 13 & 15 than Stars do. One good T/S works against teams that are built on overall strength. -

I would say not necessarily, they still have made some good signings. Should make the top 4, even without Cairns. But they would probably struggle to win the play-offs without him. -
